For acne or acne-prone skin it ensures protection against the proliferation of microorganisms and the triggering of the inflammatory process, against excess sebum, dehydration and persistence of post-acne pigmentation spots. It may be used either in treatment of more severe cases, or individually, in common acne cases, both therapeutically and preventively.

How to use:

To be applied in the morning and evening, avoiding the eye area, following skin cleansing with the Purifying Foaming Gel.

Active ingredients and their role:

• Synactin® AC is a complex asset with a 5-in-1 action, as it acts on all the factors involved in acne. It has the effects of reducing inflammation, reducing microbial activity, including Propionobacterium Acnes, and reducing post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation. It helps regulate the keratinization process and restore the skin's barrier function, by reducing sebum secretion and by anti-inflammatory effect.
• Niacinamide is a valuable asset, having multiple benefits for acne-prone skin: it intervenes in the regulation of sebum secretion, in the depigmentation of post-acne spots, it has anti-inflammatory, decongestant effects and strengthens the barrier function of the skin by stimulating the synthesis of sphingolipids, precursors of ceramides.
• Potassium glycyrrhizinate inhibits the enzyme responsible for converting cortisol into cortisone, being a strong anti-inflammatory.
• Lactic acid and Sodium lactate are components of NMF - the skin's natural moisturizing factor, being responsible for maintaining an optimal level of hydration of the stratum corneum of the epidermis. It also provides protection against the proliferation of microorganisms involved in acne by supporting the acid mantle of the skin and accelerates the process of removing post-acne hyperpigmentation.
